Yoz people I'm back..I broke my record..I didn't even touch a single book over the weekends! Really..during holidays at least I would hold one in my hand for show =P

Shall do some updating about my "adventure" in batam. Me and my mum took the afternn ferry..actually we were supposed 2 go as a group with my uncles & aunts..but one of my aunts wanted to cook for her family b4 she left (which I don't see the logic) so the rest of them wanted to wait 4 her. My mum didn't want to risk her life taking the boat at night =P yupx so we were the first batch of Singaporeans who arrived..hahaz

Went to Evi's house straightaway..yeah. When we saw each other we were like screaming away..as if she was my long lost sister hahaz =P Can't be helped lah..we're close cousins mah..and we only get to meet 3days in 365days?! =( They had some weird chi custom tt the groom is supposed to wait 4 e bride..so all of us stayed up to wait for her!! And i really meant all of us..even my 3yr old baby cousins. My cousin was so kanchiong lor..he changed into his suit and walked around with the coat hahaz. Then he realised how dumb he looked with all his perspiration so he changed into a shirt. Then he walked around the whole hse..went to change to a long sleeve shirt..then walked up & down the house..changed back to the suit...blah blah. His friends all came over to spend his last night as a "swinging bachelor" with him..then so paiseh lor my younger cousins kept asking me 2 choose a husband among them. That grp of guys kept staring at me and pulled Ah Liang kor (e groom's elder bro) to a corner..it's so obvious they're asking about me. yah..wad's wrong with a Singaporean..hahz..do I look any different from Batam people?..hHm...

The tea ceremony was the most funny part. Cos Ah Liang kor's not married yet..so when Ah Ming kor served tea to the elders he must hide in the room & not show his face! =P Everyone was teasing him.."Your brother married le you as elder brother still single!" But I'm not going to speak up for him..he's so mean..I crossed the sea to meet them yet he keeps finding things to quarrel with me..hMph! But hahaz he's nice lah..took great care of me while I was there..he was also the one who sent me to the harbour on Sunday night.

My two closest cousins are Evi and Ah Liang kor..but it was so embarrassing..cos all my other cousins were teasing us! Just because I'm a foreinger in tt island & he paid more attention to me..hahaz. But I did try to clear the misunderstanding..told them it's impossible for cousins to get married. So all of them paused for a few seconds cos they realised their plan backfired =P But instead of collaborating with me..tt silly guy said "Actually cousins can get married..unless they bear the same surname." Gosh there I was trying to clear the air & he made it worse. But we'll obviously not go further than cousins, & he likes this girl who's also his colleague. Hahaz..he finally admitted 2 it after I questioned him like a criminal =P But when I wanted to tell this piece of news to e rest he panicked like anything and begged me not to. Since he doesn't want e other cousins 2 know...I shall be nice..not like him..hMph!

My father's on his way to fetch my mum from the Harbourfront Centre. Shall pester her to tell me what happened during the wedding dinner. ArghZ I miss Evi..and everyone in Batam.
